"Team base camps play a significant role for national teams in their proper preparation for matches. During championships they serve as accommodation for teams. Each team selects a team base camp at their own discretion.

Members of the local authorities of Dolnośląskie and Opolskie Voivodeships submitted 30 proposals of teams base camps for national teams for EURO 2012. It is worth adding that these region’s offer is more extensive then other voivodeships’ as far as the number of proposed locations is concerned.
The locations were approved by the Lower Silesian Organising Committee for the European Football Championship - EURO 2012.

All application forms were sent to the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. The next stage of verification will be performed at the ministerial level. After approving a location by the commission of UEFA, the final decision concerning the selection of the centre will be made by technical directors of individual national teams.
