Doubtless the main advantage of the region is connected with encompassing enormous swathes of forests, wonderful, ancient mountain ranges - the Karkonosze, Stołowe (Table), Sowie (Owl) and Kaczawskie Mountains - providing healthy microclimate.
The best proof of potential and balneological capabilities are baths served in Cieplice, Lądek Zdrój or Duszniki Zdrój and of course thermal waters, which are conscientiously used.
