Museums – more than 85 facilities with wide range of different profiles, for example Museum of Papermaking, Lower Silesia Monuments' Miniatures Park, National Museum, Museum of Post & Telecommunication;
Art Galleries – more than 80 facilities;
Cinemas – ca 50 facilities, including 2 multiplex cinemas;

Additionally, many cultural events, well known not only in Poland, but also abroad, are held in Lower Silesia, for example Wroclaw’s international festival “Wratislavia Cantans”, International Chopin Festival, International Moniuszko Festival, International Greek Music Festival, International Street Theatre Festival, the Singing Actor's Festival, International Encounters with the Open Theatre, Blues Brothers Day and many more.

The fact that different cultures and traditions, including Polish, German, Czech and Jewish, have been mixing in Wroclaw for centuries has had a particular influence on the atmosphere of the city and on its citizens. The slogan “Wroclaw – the Meeting Place” excellently sums up the nature of the city.

Wroclaw can also be proud of its own cultural venues, such as its Opera, Operetta, Philharmonic Concert Hall and its numerous theatres, museums and galleries.
