Business

Based on the understanding that administrative borders are not the key determinants of the sustainable development and prosperity of a region, the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW) was launched in early 2006 as a partnership between 8 local governments of the Wrocław agglomeration. ARAW works to stimulate economic growth and entrepreneurialism by attracting hi-tech and new investments to the region.

Operating in Wroclaw Regional Development Agency is Investor Assistance Centre (COI), appointed in conjunction with Polish Agency for Foreign Investments (PAIiIZ). Its purpose is to operate towards promotion of the region and to participate actively in the process of servicing foreign investors. COI operations are particularly directed towards promoting Lower Silesia as a region attractive for Foreign Investors.
